On January 15, on the Chinese Fellow certificate awarding ceremony of Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM for short), Xiong Xiaofang, deputy chief engineer of ENFI, was awarded a certificate. He was one of the first-batch Chinese senior mining experts joining AusIMM.
In October 2013, China Mining Association, Australasian Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC for short) and AusIMM jointly held the “Counseling Training Class on Australasian Code for Mineral Reserve Reporting and Membership of Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy”, which aimed at training a batch of globally-recognized eligible people in China's mining industry who can sign public mining market technology report as well as project feasibility study report and prefeasibility study report and other supportive documents (i.e., people who have the qualification of signing public reports for open mining industry technology in the stock market). After six agendas - learning guidance, interview, guarantee, member review, and voting by independent eligible committee members and board of directors, 29 people were award the title “AusIMM Fellow” in the end.
